02/01/08 - (MOBILE, AL) - The 2008 Mobile County Spelling Bee, sponsored by the GMAC Bowl, was held Friday, February 1, 2008, at Bishop State’s Baker-Gaines Central Campus Auditorium from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sixty-eight elementary and middle school students from public, private, and parochial schools participated in the contest.
